Dr. Veronica McMahon Valentine (affectionately called Dr. Ronni by her patients) is a second generation chiropractor following in her father’s footsteps, who was one of Palmer College’s first graduates and Chiropractic’s founding fathers. Dr. Veronica is a devout believer in the miracles of Chiropractic seeing firsthand the benefits and strong points of this healthcare profession in both her father’s practice as well as her own, and with her own 3 children.
Her first impression of Chiropractic was when her father's funeral was paid for by a patient whose 7 year old son was adjusted with great results. The adjustments greatly helped the child’s terrible asthma attacks back in the 1970’s. This boy’s father was so impressed and grateful that he insisted on paying for Dr. Elwood McMahon’s funeral expenses. Many years later, when chiropractic became more mainstay, Dr. Veronica left a great job at NBC’s Public Relations Department in New York City to pursue her true passion – helping people with Chiropractic. She worked with several chiropractors in New York before joining Family Chiropractic in Plainview, New York. In 1990, she moved to Sunrise, Florida, to open a large, successful clinic which she managed for 28 years.
Last year, she left that office to open a solo practice better able to serve the patients of Sunrise and surrounding areas with Chiropractic care, as well as other alternative health care passions such as Oxygen Bar therapy, body sculpting, weight loss plans, functional medicine, physical therapy and overall nutritional counseling – all aimed at further enhancing the overall health and well-being of all who seek her care.
Dr. Valentine dedicates her practice to everyone, from pregnant women, to newborns, toddlers, teens and adults including sports injuries, auto accidents and work injuries to lifetime wellness care. Her influence has guided many children from her previous practice to actually become Doctors of Chiropractic. And that is a great compliment!
